• well balanced climate because of the tremendous water masses all around
• never really cold (you do not need a drysuit, not even in winter)
• rarely unpleasantly hot (only when the wind comes directly from the Sahara - but then never longer than 3 days)
• great for surfing all year round
  • water never colder than 66 °F, but also not warmer than72 °F
  • air temperature during the day between 64 and 82°, during the night between 59 and 73°F
• eternal spring with so much sun like nowhere else in the world
• percentage of sunshine on the surf days since 1987 in our databank
• because of the dryness in the south, no mosquitos, rarely flies or other pesky insects and pests
• no sand fleas, scorpions, poisionous spiders, or snakes
• no dangerous animals in the northern woods
• in total: perfect for feeling well, provided that you like the wind
