In September the hassle of the summer tunes out. The beach starts to be calmer even if the air doesn’t. Despite having had a few very calm years we also had some where we had to take out the three and a half metre sails to cope with the wonderful winds. Like for example in 1992 or 2004 :-))
Also the september of 2012 and 18 where rather pleasant, specially for the kitesurfers. They can still have fun when their smalest kites don’t lift them any more since those extra square metres are no as cumbersome at the end of 20 metre lines that directly on the boom. Aside from this the bay is more empty and offers lots of space (:

Im September klingt der Sommeransturm ab. Es wird wieder ruhiger am Strand. Nicht unbedingt auch in der Luft. Es gab auch Jahre, da hatten wir noch richtig Hack und mussten die dreieinhalber Segel wieder rausholen. Beispielsweise 1992 oder 2004 :-))
Auch die 2012 und 18er September waren überaus erfreulich, insbesondere für die Kiter. Die sind auch dann glücklich, wenn sie mit den kleinen Kites nichts anfangen können. Im Gegensatz zum Windsurfen sind ja unhandliche Quadratmeter an den Leinen weniger lästig als direkt in der Hand.
Außerdem ist nun auch wieder mehr Platz auf dem Wasser (:
